This is one of my 20 bicycles. It is single speed but not fixed. It has a coaster brake that I spoked in a race rim I call it "back pedal power". I used it a lot when being a bicycle messenger. It runs like dynamite and rols like angel.
I had a fixy but is has been stolen some years ago. It was my cargo bike As an bike messenger I had a magnificant time. Running 140/160 km a day in the traffic of Rotterdam. It embodies the freedom I was looking for, I just spended 8.000 km on my bike in India and this was the job I wanted. Legs of steel and fast as black metal.
The bike messengers I have known got their own ambitius mind and personal goals. All healthy in body and stong in mind, happy with their choice of freedom.
